Joining a new parish can be intimidating. You look around and see so many wonderful families you would love to meet, but you don’t know how to start—at least that’s how my husband and I felt when we first joined our parish. So, my husband came up with an idea, and the moment he said it, we knew we had to do it: a New Parishioner Dinner. We have been so blessed at our parish to be surrounded by so many faithful families, and we wanted others to experience that same blessing.

Our pastor and the evangelization team were incredibly supportive in helping us set this up and new young families have said yes to sharing a meal in our home surrounded by current parishioners and immediately plugging into parish life. We are so grateful to be part of a parish that encourages and supports building a strong and vibrant parish community.
